Musings from the Manse

Your God-given Task

God does not just call people into the church. He calls them into many different vocations in the world and, like the heather, it may be to do something that nobody else is able or prepared to do.

God gives us many gifts that, more often than not, we take for granted. It is important to realise that God has a task for each one of us.

Although we feel inadequate or unwilling, God sees something in us that we may be unable to discern for ourselves. How do you know what you are meant to do?

If you are not confident listening to God then listen to your friends, listen to your heart, for God is there prompting. You will find fulfilment using your God-given gifts as you respond to your God-given task.
